HRADIO at Media Meets Automotive in Munich

On the 11th of December, 2017, Media Meets Automotive took place in Munich, an event by the Media Network Bavaria (Bayerischen Landeszentrale für neue Medien). HRADIO was invited and a short presentation about the project's status was given by Maximilian Knop from the Konsole Labs.

The automotive industry is currently undergoing major changes since its invention. Constants such as the driver are being questioned and completely new usage scenarios for in and around the car are becoming possible. As customers are able to spend more time and attention while driving, there is now also a clear demand for new experiences in the car. How should media companies and car manufacturers react to this development? That was one of the key issues of the event. 

Moreover, the program explored how a car could become a platform for media content, what the interior should look like, what infrastructure the future could bring and how the car could become a new advertising environment. Industry experts showed developments, conditions and opportunities for using media in the car of the future.
